Advanced Fire Breathing - Participants attending the advanced workshop will learn proper techniques, physics, movements, and control to pull off those technical fire breathing moves you've been wanting to learn. Such as, ghosts, floats, flame isolation, splits, sustains, catches, and more! At the end of the advanced class, participants will have the opportunity for one on one instruction time to practice and execute these new techniques and methods learned, also with certified fire safeties on site! Attending these workshops in no way guarantees to make you a professional fire breather! I do however guarantee you will leave with every ounce of proper knowledge to more then adequately start your journey in learning and perfecting the art of Fire Breathing. Dragoonis Flame
Basic Fire Eating - Controlling Fire, Ha Ha Ha! Even if you have never seen fire eating, but are interested and intrigued by the idea of it, you can still walk away from this class learning more than enough to amaze your friends at the next bonfire. Here you will learn the basics of how to control fire to your own will and seemingly come away with the power of a fire god. Beginning Aerial Silks 101 - In this beginners level workshop students will be introduced to aerial silks in a safe and fun environment. Students will learn basics like how to climb, hold themselves up, tie a knot and properly grip the silks. Progressions will be given where I see fit! The Beginning of Contact Poi - We will go over forearm rolls, send backs, and cradle catches. For anyone who may have some knowledge in contact already, we will go over folding lines and how to work them into a sequence. You will be shown different drills to execute each move, variations of entrances and exits of each move, and then learn how to sequence these moves together. (Beginner/Intermediate) R.J.

The Beginning of No-Beats - We will go over what no-beats are, and how to practice various no-beats with each hand separately. We will then start looking at 2 hand no-beat sequences, such as forward continuous no-beats on each side of the body, and then learn how to split them to same side no-beats. For anyone who may have these basic concepts down already, we will go over the reverse continuous no-beats and how to turn while continuously doing no-beats, and start breaking down the forward and reverse no-beat 3 beat weave. Body Tracing: Part 1 – Learn the base building blocks for tracing the contours of your body, with the poi here. The what, where, when, and how to. I wish there was a way to fast track this stuff but there isn't. Our goal is to all leave with an understanding of the foundational work, as well as an ability to execute base tracing technique and shape. Will move beyond that at the pace of the class All skills welcome Helpful pre-requisites: 2beat, 3beat and archers weave on wheel and wall plane. Body Tracing: Part 2 – With your newfound(or existing) foundation and body tracers, let's explore various placements and conceptualize points in which we can do body tracing. In this continuation, we will start where part 1 left off and shortly after, rocket ourselves forward as we begin formulating various tracers combined together, moving inside of a traced pattern, as well as hybridizing them with flowers. There's a near endless amount we can explore here in this intermediate to advanced body tracing class. Helpful pre-requisites: Traced archers weave, Tracing the fountain. Business Tips, Tricks, and Tactics for Flow Artists - In this class we will be answering all your business related questions that flow artists have when trying to make money in the flow arts. We will cover the basic outline of creating and running a business using the same skeleton used for business degrees. We’ll cover all the basics from Marketing, Advertising, Promotions, Networking, Finances, Budgeting, Cash Flow, Production, Performance, Market Research, Operations, Logistics, Business Tactics, Time Management, Negotiation, and Legal Matters, getting you ready for the business world of flow arts. Candle Holder – Create a unique candle holder using an ordinary metal container and paper mache. (All levels) Kathi
Chest Rolls - First, we will go over breaking down a basic chest roll to glide it across your chest smoothly. Then, we will advance into more challenging variations, such as: chest rolls with a neck spin, continuous chest rolls, chest roll with elbow passes, foot hooping into a chest roll, and chest roll pops. These fun variations will add a lot of funky pizazz to your hoop tech repertoire. (beginner/intermediate) Kym Cores

Dancing with Fans, Complimenting Tech - Participants will learn spins, turns, levels, travelling, embellishments and flare to compliment and layer with tech. Learn a combination to incorporate into your flow (or disassemble!).

Double Staff/ Slide & Fold pt1 - This intro class will consist of different Slide/Fold concepts focusing on different inner/outer folds with a variety of Slide methods to create different combinations. The style of teaching is to allow participants to progress quickly by learning simple concepts to build off of. (Beginner) Jon Brown
Double Staff / Slide & Fold pt2 - The intermediate class will be a continuation of the beginner class and working more into right angles, 3D as well as groundwork Slide & Fold concepts. (Intermediate) Jon Brown
Double staff traps and rolls- Come explore ways of playing with 2 sticks in one hand by entering and exiting traps using grip changes and contact rolls. These are a great way to add a unique flair to your double staff spinning and also an intro to triple staffs . (intermediate) Aaron Hall
Dragon Staff / Let it Roll pt1 - The intro class will consist of teaching participants how to control their Dragon Staff speed with basic chi and body rolls. (Beginner) Jon Brown

Dragon Staff / Let it Roll pt3 - The advanced class will be going over different groundwork rolls, tosses, matrix, as well as going over how to allow the prop to compliment the participants. (Advanced) Jon Brown
Fire Breathing-part 1, 2 and 3: During the introduction course, participants will learn proper fire safety from A-Z, and all of the proper techniques from set, safety precautions, clean up, and much more to safely practice the art of fire breathing. (Beginner) Dragoonis Flame
Fire Eating Flourishes and Torchwork - So you can do a few fire eating tricks. Now let’s explore how to make your fire eating look freaking phenomenal. With some added flourishes and flair, you can look like a fire god with how easily and graceful you can control not only the fire, but also the torches. With ideas from the juggling, poi spinning, club spinning, pen spinning, baton, contact staff, double staff, and even the flair bartending world, we’ll make you look like VTG-esus. Fishtail Transitions - Move seamlessly between contact staff moves using the reverse and forward fishtails. We will cover planes and direction of spin, moving in and as time permits: transitions for wrist wraps, stalls, the steve, halo and conveyor belt. (intermediate/advanced) Ananda Walker
Form & Function (Hoop) - Technique is important for functionality, visual effect, and injury prevention. In this class, we will address form and its function in hoop dance. We will go over warm-ups and stretches to benefit flow artists. Mental and physical awareness of posture and alignment will be taught. (All levels) Sarah Sparkles
Foundational Terminology – Understand the linguistic framework to describe the movement of objects in space as they refer to others. Students will leave with an understanding of planes, timing and direction, types of spin, the 4 basic motions and transition theory. Further, they will develop the ability to accurately describe the movements learned in class, known previously or yet to be seen as well as explore movements they never had before. Hair for Flow- Visual presentation is so important in performances and I want to teach you how to express yourself and your art in the best way possible. Hair and makeup can truly amplify a showcase and I want to make you feel more confident in creating your physical presentation. Whether you have a specific look for a particular performance or need help nailing your signature look I’m here to help. Nothing to bring, I will supply everything we will need. Just come ready to try new things and learn. Hoop Breaks - This breaks workshop will focus on breaks variations and techniques both on and off body. This includes hand breaks, pinch breaks, knee breaks, elbow breaks and paddles in a horizontal and vertical plane. Sarah Supernova
Hoop Geometry- This workshop that will start with some basic 2-3 hoop patterns and build up to 4 and 5 hoop patterns. I will show how those basic hoop patterns can be used to build on even more for up to 7 hoop patterns! We will learn hoop wing variations, body lock variations, hoop pants variations, globe variations, flowers and more! This is fun and challenging! No hoop experience necessary. 2-5 hoops of the same size or close to it (not too small) will be needed for this workshop. You can always combine hoops with a friend and take turns making patterns. Hoop Hybrids - What is a hybrid? It is when one hand is doing one move while the other hand is doing something different simultaneously which creates a beautiful visually pleasing effect. This twin hoop workshop will explore some of the basic hybrid moves by breaking them down one hand at a time and discover how to piece two different moves together and transition into other hybrids. Intermediate Fire Eating – You’re a Fire Wizard! Here we will explore the journey of fire eating through its stages. We will begin with the best tricks to do when fully fueled all the way to just enough yet. It’s easiest to perform transfers and trails with a fully fueled torch and shoot the moon and other vapor tricks with a little less fuel. There will several flourishes and handling tricks to maximize your fire eating effects, and this class will also add a number of tricks, tips, and performance advice to get your fire eating looking Sexy and Magical. Intro to Choreographing to Music - Want to write a showcase piece but not sure how to start? This workshop will help you break down music and give you a place to start building a performance piece. We will learn how to count music and map out a plan. Any, all or no props needed. Sarah Supernova

Intro to Thai Massage - Learn the history, tools and basic techniques of Thai Massage in this course. This type of massage includes deep pressure, acupressure and stretching. It realigns the bones, muscles and energy system. Thai Massage is a great way to support and care for your body as a flow artist. Also be sure to bring a yoga mat and a friend! We will be practicing the basic techniques on each other in the workshop. (beginner)
Intro to Whip Cracking - Single Cracks Everyone has heard the very distinguishing sound of a whip cracking but few have experienced at their own hand. Whether or not you just want to feel like a movie character or become a whip performance artist, come and get the information you have always wanted about whips. There are so many variations given the type, the sound, the length, the speed, material and other specs of whips that simply listening in will give you the knowledge to avoid any regrets when purchasing or making a whip. The basics cracks will be covered such as the cattleman’s crack, the side arm flick and the overhead crack in the safest manner possible, so that one will learn without ever hurting themselves. Playing In an Octahedron: The beginning of 3D plane breaking. We will go over many different stall points and drills to start learning, and breaking down the patterns in an octahedron (a 6 pointed, 8 sided, 3 dimensional diamond). We will first go over all of the stall points, and learn how to plane break at each stall point. Once there is an understanding of the stall points we will learn how to create basic patterns in each quadrant with one hand and two. There is so much to be explored in this theory!! Poi / Body Wraps - This Intermediate Class will be covering how to wrap the participants poi in different variations throughout their body, ranging from 1 poi in each hand as well as 2 poi in one hand. (Intermediate) Jon Brown.
Puppyhammer 1– (prop needed for class, I have a small amount of extras) Introduction of the prop, what it is, its uses and theory. Explain the basics of the many different modes and styles in which the prop can be worn and manipulated. By the end of class I plan to have everyone comfortable releasing their grip from poi mode, building up to escaping, as well as capturing the prop from meteor mode. (Beginner) Matt Freeman

Stop Drop and Lock It - In this beginner level workshop we will build on what was taught in the first workshop. We will focus on a fundamental part of aerial silks: Footlocks! Students will also work on climbing and proper shoulder alignment to prevent injury. Some upper body strength will help, but is not required because everything can be done from the ground. Progressions will be provided when necessary. Come prepared to warm up, learn something new and stretch it out. (Beginner) Becca Elizabeth
Straight up - We can also roll straight up! This class will delve into the thick jungle of roll variations and sequences possible with hula hoops on primarily vertical as well as horizontal lines. Thai Massage: Partner - In this course we will explore the stretches in Thai Massage incorporating isolated stretches and the whole body. Thai Massage: Shoulders - Apply Thai Massage techniques and tools on the shoulders. As flow artists our shoulders become stressed and sore during performance and practice. Learn how to support your shoulders with a Thai Massage. Increase flexibility, range of motion, get the blood flowing and reduce stress. Be sure to bring a yoga mat and a friend as we will be practicing the techniques on each other in the workshop. Attending the Intro to Thai Massage course will help but is not required. Through the Eating Glass… - In this class we will learn how to make beautifully decorated glass plates using fabric, paint and more! (All levels) Maureen
Tutting For Flow Artists – The Hourglass Explorations - No prop or skill level required. Also understandable as "instrumental tutting" we will learn a "scale" made by Matt Darkmatter/ Haoudoken that I named the hourglass after the hand path followed. It is 12 steps and thus we can "lag" one hand for 12 total starting patterns and choose a direction (Same/Opposite) creating 24 patterns each adjacent to 2 other patterns. Playing with all of this will appeal to ideas like VTG and grid tracing. With this framework we create a diverse yet simple foundation with which to tut similarly to how we learn instruments through scales, chords and songs. I will also touch on a concept called levers which will also greatly lend to our poi spinners, double staffers and more. The grid tracing concepts of this class will improve people's awareness of their body and it's geometry. (Beginner) Ryan D. Ducham
Universal Connection Through Dance - In this workshop, students will focus on connection, the most important part of not only movement arts, but of life. Students will work together with one another to create a meditative connection through dance and movement. This class will pull inspiration from prop art and multiple styles of solo and partner dancing, as well as working closely to embody the 4 elements, enabling us to expand our repertoire of body movement and understanding of trust and humanity.
